Poverty starts at home.
Poverty is characterized with lack of food and hunger. Plants produce food but many planters have been demotivated to plant crops due to high cost of farm inputs among others. But there is a solution to that today: Natural Farming Technology System or NFTS.
Natural farming get rid of costly, environmetallyhazardous farm inputs. Natural farming utilizes environment friendly homemade farm inputs mostly transforming biodegradable household wastes into organic fertilizer and the cultivation of own beneficial Indigenous MicroOrganisms or IMO. If every household makes its own fertilizer and produces food then hunger can be addressed. Yes, not everyone has land to plant but he/she can plant on plastic containers, plastic bags, styrofoam boxes, etc. That way we not only produce food but also help clean our environment. Isn't it?
I have been a natural farming practitioner for about a couple of years now and I see wonderful and promising results. The way my farm is performing, I believe that natural farming is the way out from poverty.
Just my 1 cent worth.
